Charlotte Li

Charlotte Li joined the Financial Services Forum in August 2026 as a Research Associate.
At the Forum, Ms. Li conducts empirical and data-driven research on bank capital, liquidity, and other financial regulatory issues, with a focus on their implications for the nation’s largest banks and the broader U.S. economy.
Prior to joining the Forum, Ms. Li was a research assistant at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), where she conducted empirical research on international finance and macroeconomics. Earlier, she interned at the Institute of International Finance, supporting research on sovereign debt, public finance, and global financial markets. She also served as a data analyst intern at Deloitte iBond, where she focused on credit risk analysis in China’s corporate bond market.
Ms. Li earned a Master of International Economics and Finance from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from the University of California, Irvine. She has also passed Level I of the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) examination.
