
Amanda Eversole
President and Chief Executive Officer
Amanda Eversole assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Services Forum in September 2025. She educates policymakers and the public about the critical role the eight largest U.S. banks play in the lives of American consumers, businesses, and the economy. She also leads a team that advocates for policies that support savings and investment, financial inclusion, deep and liquid capital markets, a competitive global marketplace, and a sound financial system.
Eversole previously spent 7 years at the American Petroleum Institute (API), where she most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Advocacy Officer. She led API’s integrated advocacy strategy, including oversight of the communications, federal government relations, state government relations and public affairs departments. She also served as the Chief Operating Officer where she led the development of API’s strategic plan and its principles, oversaw membership during historic changes in the industry, and revitalized and streamlined API’s business operations.
Prior to joining API, Eversole was Managing Director and Head of Public Affairs at JPMorganChase, where she built the firm’s public affairs function. She also spent 13 years at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, serving as president of the Chamber Technology Engagement Center to develop and expand ties between technology companies and policymakers. Additionally, she served as Senior Vice President of the U.S. Chamber Center for Capital Markets Competitiveness, a program she helped launch in 2006 to advance America’s global leadership in capital formation. Eversole also served as Chief of Staff to Chamber President and CEO Thomas J. Donohue and oversaw marketing and communications for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Prior to joining the U.S. Chamber, she worked for RTC Relationship Marketing – a WPP Group company – in business development.
Eversole graduated cum laude from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a minor in French. She earned an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where she was a Palmer Scholar and graduated first in her class. Eversole currently serves on the William & Mary Business School Foundation Board. She lives in Virginia with her husband and their two daughters.
