Summary of the Opportunity
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and strategic support to the President & CEO and the Chief of Staff as a member of the Executive Office team.
This is a highly visible position that sits at the intersection of executive operations, member relations, and event execution. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-touch environment working with senior executives and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support
- Manage the CEO’s complex calendar, including scheduling across internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage the Head of Government Relations’ calendar, including scheduling across internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries and logistics.
- Prepare event and engagement briefing materials, meeting agendas, presentations, and background documents with assistance from FSF staff.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for executive assistants representing member CEOs.
- Maintain CEO and organizational memberships, including club affiliations and renewals.
- Track CEO lobbying activity for semi-annual LD-203 disclosure reporting
- Support sponsorship participation in external events and ensure fulfillment of related deliverables.
- Work with Executive team to plan and hold periodic strategic offsite meetings for Forum staff.
Member Engagement & Events
- Support quarterly CEO meetings and ad hoc member convenings from strategic planning to all aspects of execution and follow-up.
- Assist with planning and execution of the organization’s annual Summer Reception and other signature events.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to organize regular events and engagements.
What You’ll Need to Succeed (Requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience supporting senior executives, ideally within a trade association, policy organization, financial services firm, or Capitol Hill/Administration environment.
- Experience as a scheduler on Capitol Hill strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience working with high-profile stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems or event management platforms a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional presence, sound judgment, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility for occasional overnight travel.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $120,000-140,000 based on experience, plus overtime as needed.
