Financial Services Forum Appoints Patricia Yeh as General Counsel

WASHINGTON, D.C., The Financial Services Forum today announced that Patricia Yeh has been appointed General Counsel, bringing to the organization more than two decades of leadership in bank regulatory law, compliance, and financial sector policy.

Yeh will serve as the organization’s chief legal advisor and key partner to Forum leadership on legal, regulatory, and governance matters. She will also support the Forum’s Board of Directors and engage with policymakers, regulators, and member companies.

Said Yeh: “The Financial Services Forum has earned a strong reputation as a trusted voice in bank regulatory and financial policy. Yeh most recently served as Head of Regulatory Relations Governance and Senior Associate General Counsel at Truist Financial Corporation and Truist Bank, advising executives and the Board on supervisory, enforcement, and prudential regulatory matters.

Earlier in her career, she spent more than a decade in the Federal Reserve Board’s Legal Division, serving as Senior Counsel for Banking Regulation and Policy in Washington, D.C. While there, she played an important role in the Board’s fintech oversight work, including on cryptocurrencies and stablecoins, and contributed to major rulemakings implementing the Dodd‑Frank Act. She also provided legal counsel on mergers and acquisitions, financial institution activities, and regulatory compliance matters.

Yeh’s background also includes senior compliance leadership in Asia and private‑sector roles at global law firms. She holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
