Washington, D.C. – The Financial Services Forum today announced the selection of Tiffany Haas as Head of Government Affairs. Haas has served as the Forum’s Co-Head of Government Affairs since September 2018.
“I am delighted to announce Tiffany’s selection to lead our government affairs work,” Forum President and CEO Kevin Fromer said. “Tiffany has been an essential member of the Forum team for the past four years, serving our organization and its members with the utmost level of skill, professionalism, and dedication. She is a tremendous colleague, and I know she will excel in this new role.”
The government affairs group is responsible for furthering policy priorities of the Forum members, all U.S. global systemically important banks (GSIBs).
While at the Forum, Haas has co-led engagement ahead of three GSIB CEO hearings and legislative strategy on Forum policy priorities. Haas has been named one of Washingtonian Magazine’s 500 Most Influential People, to The Hill’s Top Lobbyists list, and was recognized by Women in Housing and Finance as a 40 Under 40 award recipient.
Before joining the Forum, Haas served as the vice president for congressional affairs at the Consumer Bankers Association. Haas holds a J.D. from Marquette University Law School, where she was the editor-in-chief of the Marquette Sports Law Review, and a B.A. in political communication from the George Washington University, where she graduated magna cum laude, was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and captained the university’s Women’s Gymnastics Team.
