Fort Harrison

JPMorgan Chase provides loans for projects for Communities for Veterans, including their Freedom’s Path affordable housing communities, which provides affordable housing for homeless or at risk of homelessness Veterans on VA campuses. The Freedom’s Path Fort Harrison, Montana includes 11 rehabbed buildings with 42 units and prioritizes homeless, at-risk and disabled veterans.

Butte

Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Businesses program is an investment by the bank to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing access to education, capital and business support services. One of the program’s alumni is Courtney McKee of Headframe Spirits. McKee now plans to open the largest distillery west of the Mississippi River by repurposing twenty acres of an abandoned copper mine. The effort is projected to create 100 jobs.
