
Tiffany Haas
Head of Government Affairs
Tiffany Haas is the Head of Government Affairs. She joined the Forum in September 2018.
While at the Forum, Haas has helped lead engagement ahead of four GSIB CEO hearings and legislative strategy on Forum policy priorities. Haas has led Forum member advocacy on bank capital regulation, including Basel III Endgame and stress testing, along with liquidity and climate-related financial risk before Congress and the administration. Haas has worked to build broad trade and interest group coalitions, which has led to successful engagement and outcomes on Forum member issues.
Before joining the Forum, Haas served as the vice president for congressional affairs at the Consumer Bankers Association. She previously served as legislative counsel and communications director to Rep. Donald Payne, Jr. (D-N.J.), was a communications adviser at the Democratic National Committee, and served in legal and field roles at Obama for America. In addition, she practiced law as a litigation attorney in the private sector.
Haas holds a J.D. from Marquette University Law School, where she was the editor-in-chief of the Marquette Sports Law Review, and a B.A. in political communication from the George Washington University, where she graduated magna cum laude, was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and captained the university’s Women’s Gymnastics Team.
